My lights dim out when my subs hit but I'm not running that much power. Big 3?...

...New Battery? New alt? My car is a 2000 grand marquis, it currently has a stock battery (Interstate), stock alt (130AMPS), and a 17 foot run of wire (4 Gauge). My old system was a kicker zx300.1 amp and a single rockford p1 woofer. The kicker is 300rms at 2 ohms and 150 rms at 4. I had it wired to 4 with the 4 ohm rockford sub. When i had the old system hooked up, my lights would dim very very slightly. This bothered me but it didn't seem like a huge deal at the time. My problem is that I am planning on running 2 of the zx300.1 amps with 4 rockford p1s and Im afraid my system is going to be dragging to hard and will dim like crazy. What should I do to prevent this problem? I feel like 150 rms shouldnt have been dimming me at all. Will the 600 rms of the new system pull too much? Im planning on doing the big three by adding on to the existing wire with 2 guage automotive wire. Good idea?
