I used to do judo at a local club but the opponents got smaller and smaller as more left or joined that it got so bad that I couldn't throw them because i couldn't get low enough to the floor without opening to attack or falling over so i quit. a few years later i looked into jiu jitsu at the same club, just for fun, and found the opponents to be my size. it was a perfect opportunity to do that instead as the judo still had small opponents, so i said to my mum that i would stick to this one as the opponents would stay the same size (the bigger opponents at judo lived far away and found a new club or just moved away) but my mum said that as i hadnt stayed at the judo i definatly wouldnt stick with this and that i wouldnt like it any way. i said id only go for a taster session but she wont even do that. i would greatly appreciate serious answers not "go without telling her" or "say your bullied and you need to defend yourself" because none of those types of answers work or are possible. anything serious would be very much appreciated thanks.
