my neighbors dog?

his dog gets after me each and every time i go out . its mean and i have called the cops and the game warden but when they come over the dogs always changed back up and in his own yard because i start screaming when he comes after me the owner always gets him back in his yard. well today i went out and he done it again well i started running and fell i got pretty scratched up and the dog got my foot pretty bad . and of course again theres nothing they can do about it . the game warden his self will donothing . what can i do to put his ass out for good . i mean to sleep that is .
 
Don't ever run when a dog threatens you. Their instinct is to chase.
 
if the dog bit your foot, you should have gone to the hospital and had it treated and reported the dog bite.. from there call the dog warden/animal control. When a dog bites its considered dangerous and should be placed in quaretine.
 
Hm...what makes me think it's your fault and not the dog's? Seriously, maybe you should be a bit nicer and the dog won't go after you. Dogs sense mean people.

Plus, I doubt that the dog "got" you at all or it already would have been hauled away. Unless the warden says-- you have no cause and you weren't hurt.
 
If the dog comes at you dont run but the best thing you can do is stay calm and dont back down. Dogs go after weakness. After awhile the dog will learn not to mess with you cuz he knows you wont back down. If he's really aggressive i would suggest keeping a stick on you as well incase this dog tries to get close. Have you talked to your neighbors about it. If they arnt responsible enough to chain their mean dog up then you can call the human society.
 
Well, technically, if the dog attacks you or even makes an attempt towards you, you have the right to defend yourself...

Carry a pocket knife with you, next time your outside, and if the dog comes after you, you know what to do...
take a picture right away, to prove that the dog was in your yard, and if you wanted to set up a hidden video camera, that would be better..

then you can take him to civil court and have him put the dog to sleep, or sell it...

Get video, or pics and show them to animal control.
 
The Way The Dog Sees You Creeping Around When You Go Out Causes Him To Think You Are Up To Something And He Is Guarding Their Home From A Sneak Attach (in His Mind Anyway). Please Don't Take It Out On The Dog. The Owner Needs To Reinforce The Fence. If They Own The Home They Are Living In Their Insurance Should Pay For Your Medical Bills If Any And If Not They Should Compensate You For Your Pain And Suffering. Talk To The Owner Of The Dog, Don't You Have Their Phone Number? Pray That God Will Make The Man Understand And Do Something Good To Make His Fencing More Secure. The Dog Can't Help It, He Thinks He Is Doing A Good Thing.
