My Nokia drowned. Is it too late to save it?

Hi.

Last night my Nokia 2330 fell in a puddle of water. :(

Immediately, i took it out, wiped it down...and it had shut itself off.

I put the battery back in and it kept vibrating and the screen was flashing white at first when i tried turning it on.

Eventually it shut down again and condensation formed inside. I shook the phone, hoping to get rid of the remaining water.

This morning..JOY! It started up..but only as far as the Nokia logo...then it would shut down..then farther to where it asked me to set the time..and when it went to the main screen, it shut down..THEN finally it stayed and didn't shut down..but it froze..so i had to pull the battery out..

Now....all that happens when i turn the phone on is every once in a while the screen will light up in white and then shut down again. This ALWAYS happens when there is no SIM inside, but only every so often with a SIM..

So..is my phone dead? Should i let it dry for a few days? How should i do this? I'm thinking if leaving it my spare room where the afternoon heat hits at least 30 degrees Celsius in the summer sun.

Please i need success stories,if this has happened to you.. It seems anything technology that i touch i destroy in some way!

Thanks!

xx Sarah
