My Parakeet has a Brownish Cere what does this mean?

I have had my Parakeet for about 6 years. I have always believed it was a Boy but everyone says boys have a blue Cere but mine has a light pale pink color. But my Parakeet has never laid any eggs. ( I don't know if all Female birds lay eggs during that time but my other birds did so i would guess but my other 2 Parakeets always had a pink cere and never laid any eggs )

well I don't know if my Parakeet cere is Brown because of Old age? or because its in sick or is lacking something in health wise? Or If its just sexually active right now?

I never notice this before so.

when their yopung you cant tell if their a boy because they might have for example a blue cedre but when they get older it turns brown if their a girl
