I'm 16, and I noticed lately that my parents don't show much affection to each other compared to other couples. I've seen them kiss a few times, and I've seen my dad put his arm around my mom before. But, I've never seen them holding hands or cuddling or anything. I've seen my friends's parents show a lot more affection than them.
I'm sure they still love each other, but this lack of affection is making me worry. My mom doesn't usually sleep in the same room as my dad because his snoring is beyond awful. Of course, they still go to bed together sometimes, if you know what I mean.
Do you think that they're just private about it? My family has never been very open about relationships and sex-related subjects, so I think they'd be uncomfortable with PDA. Do you think
that could be the reason?
