My psp won't turn on (read the detail)?

I was using the internet browser of my psp (while the the battery percentage is around 12%) and I decided to return to the main menu of my psp, my psp asked me if I really want to exit the browser and I selected yes. Then my psp started to freeze, I waited 10 minutes but nothing happens. So i turned of the psp but the power indicator is flashing endlessly (but the screen is black) so I took off the battery and returned it and i turned on my psp but it wont turn on. (Could my psp have a problem or the battery has no more energy?
