My right-foot soccer shoe is too large... SOLUTIONS?

My right foot is more than a half size smaller than my left, so when I buy shoes, I buy them to fit my left. My soccer shoes are perfectly snug on my left foot, but have a ton of room in my right. Soccer shoes especially are supposed to fit well in order to get a good feel on the soccer ball so I am desperate for any solutions people have.

As an additional question...

My feet are very flat and I have never found anything that could help my arch in a soccer shoe. My knees hurt after every game, which I presume is from the over-pronation of my feet. Any ideas?

THANK YOU!

Try buying a pair of foam insoles and put one or both of them in the right shoe; this might snug things up enough. If not, I believe you can also purchase thingies that fit in the upper part of the heel of a shoe to keep it from slipping up and down; this would perhaps help push your foot forward. If you find any or all of these do the trick, you might need a shoe repair shop to stitch them in place, especially the thingy at the heel.
