my s reg fiat punto could do with a service ,how n what do i need to do it?

i want to have a go my self ive never done it befor (apart from air filter n oil change )but thought as it was an old cheap car it would be a good one to av a go on n try my hand at it , apart from air oil and fuel filter what else may need doing it runs ok but not the greatest someone mentioned spark plugs n leads is this right and is it an easy job to do ?

As above. But you will need an oil filter wrench of the fabric belt type. The filter is so close to the engine there is insufficient room for a chain etc to go round it. It is a straightforward little car to work on otherwise.
