My Samsung Glyde keeps telling me that I have a new text message but I don't.?

On my main screen, my text message is lit up saying that I have a new text message so when I check it, it gives me a message that I have already read.

Can anyone help?
 
It might be telling you that your messages are full. you can also take it to your service provider//corporate stores, not authorized agent they can mess up your phones. and get it flashed, updated, some times if the phone has a common problem they will put out what they call a Fix Flash for that problem, make sure you back up your contacts there at the store first.
