my Siberian Husky won't stop whining.?

I have a siberian husky. She's a little older, but she's always been really quiet and she hasn't barked hardly ever. Within the last month, she's started this whine...a really harsh whine, like what a human would do in pain. I've told my parents, but they don't think anything of it...but it's really not like her, at all. She just whines, constantly...she won't come to me when I call her to give her attention, so I was wondering if something else could be wrong?
I was also wondering if it could be a trait of pregnancy? We had my brother's dog here for a while, a Pomeranian, and he's not fixed, so we thought she could have been pregnant a few weeks back...but she's not gaining weight, but I still think she might be.
Any help would be terrific. Thanks.
& she was in heat.

If she was friendly with the other dog it could be that she misses him and is pining for him.
Huskies where bred to live in packs and so there are always a big number of them, it could be that she is lonely, if you could offer another dog a home its a possibility, but only when you know why she is wining.
She coud be pregnant but only if she was in heat.
I'd take her to the vet though as they can give you a better answer by checking her over

I'd take her to the vet for an exam. I know, we all hate forking over the $$ to vets as they usually suggest more tests, but in this case I would. As for Pomeranian/Huskie mix, well, that would be interesting! I'm just to visualize that happening!

Any sudden change in demeanor should be handled by your vet. Pregnancy is a possibility.

Wow, HuskyXPomeranian... that's an interesting mix.
