My son just asked me if he could go pick up one of his friends because they were drinking. would you let him? He is only 16 and it will be way past curfew but should i let him.

why don't you go do it for him?
that way you know he is safe, and his friend is too!

personally i think that you should go with your son to get his friend. Clearly if the friend called he needs help.
This way you know that the boy will make it home safe and
you can sleep peacefully knowing that him and your son are safe.

I would go with him if I were you.

Help me too please :)

You got to just ask yourself, think about. The answer is in you. Just weigh all the facts and follow your intuition, it is right most the time. I would not be good at giving advice because I would need to know more information, plus I have no relationship of energy to the people involved. So, it would be hard for me you have any deep intuitive feelings. Yea, but just sort it out

Go with him. Do NOT let him go alone. What if they pressure him into drinking, too. In situations like this, you have to think of the worst that could happen to your son, and do everything you can to prevent it. PS: You should drive and don't let the drunk person sit in the front. He could completely distract you when your driving.

that's a hard one.

for one you don't want him to make them drive drunk and kill them self or others, when he could have avoided it.

but you don't want the drunk guy killing your son by screwing with him while he is trying to drive.

in the end i would personally go with him and drive. that way one of you can distract the drunk punk and make it safer for everyone,

Sounds like your son is being responsible and yes I would let him but I would go with to make sure everything is ok and I would contact the other kids parents to let them know that there son may have a problem
