My Sony Ericsson W580i is messing up help!?

when i tried to change my wallpaper and it said you cannot use this file and it did that for all pictures it never used to do that, then i changed theme and when i tried to cahnge it back it said fail corrupt cannot use this file or soemthing like that and then i changed theme picture to none and i cant change it back it says the same thing should i turn it off and back on will it do anything

Cut your phone off and back on, Try to attempt it again. If it is still acting weird, then take out your battery while the phone it still on. Wait 30 seconds and replace the battery and cut it back on. Test it out. It if is still not working right, then I would recommend doing a master reset to your phone (where your phone thinks it just came out of the box, all songs, pics, etc, you have in your phone will disappear) You can do this by reading your phone manual or calling into customer care.. It should fix your issue, if not, then your phone could have a defect.
