My speedometer in my car doesnt light up.. it still works but does not light...

Sounds like a bulb in the dash or meter is blown.

It's a bulb that burned out.

Do the other dash lights work?. If not, check the dash light dimmer control. Many people inadvertently turn it down when turning on headlights and think that a light or fuse has opened.

The control is typically on the left side of the dash.

is it ONLY the speedo, and not any of the other dash lights (excluding idiot lights)?
