My spine hurts from smoking cigarettes?

Is it abnormal for someone to feel major back/spine ache and problem waking up every morning from smoking cigarettes? I've smoked cigarettes on and off for 10 years. I quit smoking and those problems are completely gone......

Maybe you sleep on your back wrong? This could be also caused by increased movement while you sleep due to the fact that nicotine makes you fidgetty as well. I wouldn`t say that smoking is the cause yet, maybe youre just more fidgetty at night and only notice it when you smoke? See a chiropractor.
