Feb 17, 2011 #2 M Mark Active member Joined May 13, 2008 Messages 1,361 Reaction score 0 Points 36 see if you have a small filter or screen on / in your gas line or in the gas valve on your gas tank. if it clogged it will cause this. with a clogged filter an engine will run fine at idle and then stall when it needs more gas.
