I haven't dropped anything on it, or stubbed it recently. It's the toe right next to my big toe on my right foot. A couple weeks ago it looked and felt like I had a mosquito bite on it; unlikely in New England winter! It's never hurt, but would be itchy when I went to bed at night and laid down.
Now I just got out of the shower and it looks purple right at the joint, just on top. Looks completely normal on the bottom. There's still no pain, numbness or tingling, but it's freaking me out. Is this something worth an ER visit?
