My vodafone Sony Ericsson can't receive any sms messages?

Here’s the problem and is seems common but after looking on the internet there seems no definite way to fix it.
I can receive and make calls, I can send text and people receive them, but I don’t get a delivery report. I can’t receive any texts.
Anyone had/ having a smililar problem?
