I tried talking with my wife, and it immediately blew up in my face. She basically said I have no say in what she does with her hair, and that I agreed to be with her no matter what. Further, she said she thought she was with someone who was comfortable with her doing the things she wants in life.

She's right, but... I may sound like a jerk but... I don't want to spend my life with a voluntarily bald woman. Do I have any say here? Maybe I could convince her just to buzz it and not take it all the way to the skin...
@Seth Yeah, I guess from an outside perspective this is pretty amusing. A couple of mornings ago I was shaving while getting ready for work, and she came in next to me. She was being affectionate, and right in the middle of it she picked up my shaving cream and started lathering her head. It's like I'm in a sitcom.
 
it's just a phase doubt she'll stay bald for the rest of her life but you may have deeper problems to deal with

Part of your initial attraction to her was was some of her physical features such as her hair...so what the hell is she doing? I am not saying a woman can't do what they want with their own hair, but doesn't she still want you to find her attractive?
 
She sounds very inconsiderate and self centered. Unless there is a medical reason for shaving her head she is totally out of line. She is right that you have no say what she does with her hair, but she has opted not to have hair. You have a say in that.

Why did she go completely bald? As you can see in my pic, I buzz mine to 1 inch, and my hubby doesn't care. But I think he'd have a word or two about going all the way!

Technically, she is right, but the fact that she disregards your discomfort with it seems to indicate deeper issues.

One thing working in your favor, a completely bald head is very high maintenance- she may get sick of tending it before long! Good luck.
 
there you go. tell her you want her to look like Sigorney Weaver in Aliens 3 or Demi Moore in G I Jane. Tell her to leave a little fuzz to tickle your fancy.
 
why dont you go about it a different direction and make her feel like the most fortunate woman because she has the GREATEST hair!!
offer to pay her a salon visit at a really expensive salon and that they will make her hair loong AMAZING...

why does she want to do it ?? it may just be a whim of hers!!! :( or rebelling?? idk

I say shave your head too. The when you puts your heads together you will make a real azz out of yourselves! LOL
 
I'm with you man. That's like if my boyfriend grew a 7 foot long beard and said deal with it. I would freak out if I have to look at that for the rest of my life . So I can't imagine a baldheaded wife. Just refuse to go anywhere with her in public until she grows her hair back. She has every right to shave it if she wants but you have the right to hide if you want. Case closed.
