...extremely heavy periods and clotting that last from 10 day-3 weeks, then 2-3 weeks no period, then right back to this again, I can't afford a Dr or insurance right now. Heavy to the point I can't leave the house. What can I do to slow it down or help?
 
You really need to see a doctor. Most doctors will allow payment arrangements. If it is that heavy you really need to be seen. You may need a D&C or a hysterectomy. You might be able to control bleeding with meds.
