Can anyone suggest a good chardonnay wine that is not to dry or acidic. Mellow, fruity, buttery finish. Not to expensive. I'm tired of drinking Sutter Home and most of the others I have tried are not to my taste.

I recently visited the Hess Collection Winery in California and purchased a whole case of their Chardonnay because it was so delicious.

I'd recommend Franciscan, J Lohr or Chateau Ste. Michelle. I can buy any of those for under $15/bottle.

The best Chardonnay I've had was by Grgich, but this one goes for over $30/bottle.

Here are a few of my favorites:
Bogle ~$10
Kendall Jackson ~$12
Little Penguin ~$6
Red Bicyclette ~$9 <-- Probably the sweetest of the list
