O Oag25 New member Jan 2, 2012 #1 I have a 99 tacoma prerunner and i keep hearing this loud thumping noise after I come out of a stop and every time that happens the shifter moves forward a bit. The truck has 215000 miles on it I haven't a clue as to what that noise is.
