need help with a 1994 subaru legacy.?

ok. the problem is the air compressor for the struts isnt working and a new one is $650. what id like to do is change it over to conventional struts. what car are the struts interchangeable with. and if you have a link to a website then thats fine aswell.

what a lame answer. and id rather go to a wrecker.
