Hi, i bought a car less than 2 weeks ago (from my brother in law) and the V5 is still registered in his name and obviously on his address. So i have got the car insured and i have also added my brother as a named driver. I sent in my NCB as proof and now they are asking for the log book, but I haven't transferred it over yet!! Things have been so hectic with us buying a new house and so on. I am also paying my insurance as a one lump sum. I know i'll send the V5 off now but im scared if they cancel my insurance then my money will all just go!
