Need help with OS on BlackBerry Storm 9530?

I've had a BlackBerry Storm since they came out, and i know absolutely nothing about it really. I read somewhere that people are able to get leaked OS but I don't understand.

Is it a good thing to download a leaked thing?
If so wheres a link to do it?
And will it mess my phone up or void any contracts with Verizon?

Just looking for someone to shed some light on the subject because i don't understand anything about it.
 
LOL, putting another OS on the blackberry might stuff it (just like putting custom firmware on a psp or iphone). its safe to do, but if u dont know how to do it, dont do it or youll do something wrong and break it.
