Need Jeep Wrangler YJ tire/rim advice ?

I've got a 94 Jeep wrangler and I want new tires/rims. what's the max tire size I can get without a lift (I don't want to lift it). Also, I want to be sure the jeep drives fine on the highway without drifting or wobbling (it doesn't now). Also, do I have to buy 15" rims? Or are there setups for 16" or 17" that would work? If so, what tire size combo would be best. Thanks
