need to find the name of a kungfu movie!?

the movie aired on spike, involved two young students who train together in a temple, when they grow up, one joins some army while the other joins the resistance to this army, they don't remain friends long after that, when the one who joined the army became commander or something like that. please help!

Hello, I just stumbled in here so I thought I would ask a question about another Kungfu movie in the same thread.

It starts of with an old man in white fighting with 3 samurais with only a sunfeather which is appareantyl made of steel in the edges. After that the movie begins with korean armyfighters getting assassinated or killing themselves in what seems to be the loss of a war. But two guys join up to resist against that emperor and fight their way through to the end where one of the guys fight that emperors best martial artists, everything from Judo, Karate, Kungfu, wrestlers to those 2 samurais that the old man fought in the beginning.

It ends sadly with the two koreans being released as promised by the man and when they walk to the gate the emperor gives the command to shoot them and they start running and it ends with them rolling around being shot to death and their friends at the gates screaming and yeah stuff like that.

Anyone know what movie I am talking about? It drives me crazy not to remember the name and I can't find the movie in my old videocollection.
