ok see i just got a letter in the mail saying that my ip address was caught downloading copyrighted material and i need to delete said material well i did download a movie on May 25 but deleted the same day cuz the quality sucked, i admit i was in the wrong but was wondering if i could make my ip address come from a third country like iraq or sweeden or something for limewire, i tried PG2 but it not compatible to my comp i guess because im running on Vista
well it wasnt my ISP that was concerned, it was that someone got my IP address, the one who i downloaded it from, which was the police, someone who got caught and than they got all the IP addresses from their log, or you know warner bros themselfs, but yea the ISP wouldnt have known if they didnt send them that letter
