Need to painlessly poison and kill my neighbor's dogs?

I've tried this:

Mix minced beef and rat poison in approx equal quantities

Divide up into lumps of size somewhere between golf and tennis balls

Put into freezer bags and stick in freezer intil solid

Stick the poisoned meat over fence and hopefully enjoy the quiet.

The dog in question so far has proved unkillable and I think it's the Antichrist. I've tried six times. If this doesn't work I'm turning into an arsonist.

No disrespect mate but don't you think it's a bit stupid to pile up the evidence in the neighbor's garden? If you've had to try poisoning the dog so many times it's likely the owner's taught his nasty little pet not to eat things it finds in the garden. Probably the owner knows the dog pisses people off and that someone will try to get rid of it.

Hope you're joking about arson - not a good idea!

I'm guessing that the dog is next door if it's bothering you that much. Try squirting it with a hosepipe every time it barks. Or if you get really desperate, have you got a metal fence? If so wait till the owner is out and connect the fence up to the power supply and attract the dog towards you. Or maybe you can open up access to your garden when it comes through you can take it for a long ride, so long as nobody can put you in the frame.

If I had my way all dogs except perhaps guide dogs would be exterminated but no dog is worth going to prison for. Good luck!
 
I'm in the same position. I need to kill a dog that is causing hell in my life and house and my partner won't get rid of the dog. I have never considered doing something like this but sometimes hard situations bring out the worst in you. make you do things you woulndn't. The rat poison i found was in like blocks or bricks. the dog is 45 lbs. how much do i need and should i do it slowly?

Well, you've got a big advantage over the rest of us in that you don't have to creep around like a thief at 3am, chucking stuff over fences. The dog's right there in front of you so you can feed it as much of the rat poison as it will eat. Then it's bye bye doggy and hallo quiet life.

EXCEPT that you've obviously complained about the dog to your partner and it's going to look pretty fishy if the dog gets sick or dies and the vet picks up on the dog being poisoned! Wouldn't it be easier for it to "go missing"? Take it for a long drive when you've got the place to yourself and leave it somewhere. Hope it all works out!

Dont Kill The The Dog() call the cops on a public disturbence or disrupsion of property,and if it come to that try to take them to court or freaten ( im sure it will work, bying and having a cat is expencive) lot of animals including humans espesly humans dont think of outher speces as living feeling creaters dogs with cat or bird cats with mice and scralls humans everthing from mice rat or sharks what gives makes thougs dog unworthy of life

You're wrong there - I know that dogs are living, feeling creatures. The fact is that I don't care. If a dog is ruining a human being's life and the only solution is to kill the dog, that's fine by me and tough luck for the dog. Human beings are the superior species, though I'll admit that's hard to believe sometimes, given some of the people I've come across.
 
I wish I had poisoned my neighbors dogs instead of complaining to the council. I should have realised how useless they really are.
 
I have many stray dogs in this area and I am less fortunate than most when it comes to resources. Financial strains not only affect me but also the local animal control department. I've called them and they have no traps, limited resources, and even told me they can't do anything about it unless the dog is easily apprehended or dead. In fact, dead dog disposal is their specialty. Apprehension is the problem because I can't get close to the dog at all and she's very elusive. The dog has chased me and my kids as well as some passer by's. She is viscous as hell. I've been feeding her for some time now trying to get her close enough to put my panga through her perro head but to no avail. She only comes close to me when she's attacking. You never know what corner or tree this dog is lurking behind but if I have anything in my hand she'll run away instead of attacking. It's very bizarre. I have fed this dog everything in this thread, except for rat poison, and it's done nothing. I cannot afford rat poison. I wish there was a true simple solution in this thread. One that has been proven to work.
 
Because two wrongs make a right, right? Actually I think it's three wrongs so, the dog kills your cat, you kill the dogs, I kill you. How's that sound?

You, me and countless others! Most of us would rather deal with nuisance dogs in a polite and civilised manner, and it's only when we try to do it that we realise that we're often up against selfish twats like the moron who posted below you. Then it's too late.

Advice to anyone who arrives at this part of the thread first: If you're suffering from constant noise or harrassment from a neighbour's dog, DO NOT COMPLAIN. Even though it seems like the right thing to do, you will almost certainly be met with indifference or hostility. These people know that their dogs annoy other people and they don't care, otherwise they'd do something about it. Some of them are so inadequate they even get a kick from bullying the neighbours. So why would they stop the dog barking just because you ask them to?

If a dog's started to intrude into your life and it looks like you'll need to take action, learn from the mistakes made by me, the poster I'm quoting and many others. Don't say a word to the neighbour, the police, animal control, or even your friends. Just eliminate the dog and get on with your life!
 
I think people that give sugestion how to kill a dog are sick , there is other ways to solve the problem , if you have cats that leave outside only is no nice for the animal you should give them up insted of kiling the dogs sick man

You can uses xylitol, its a sugar found in gum but you can buy it in a heath food store. 3 grams of it will kill a 60 pound dog.

Maybe I've been watching too much sci-fi, but to me the ideal solution would be some sort of hand held device which emitted some sort of waves that would incapacitate a dog. I don't mean the ultrasonic "anti-bark" devices already on sale - I have tried them and they are all but useless. I'm thinking of something that you could point at the nuisance dog, press a button and fry its vocal cords or brains or cause its heart to stop beating. Needless to say the device would have to be harmless to humans of any age.

The dog lovers will no doubt tell me I'm sick for suggesting such a thing. Maybe they're right - I certainly have no conscience about killing any animal that disturbs me and would quite happily take expand my fantasy device so that it would kill any dog that barked within a three mile radius of where I live.

If anyone invented such a device, I'd pay top price for it, as would any victim of canine noise pollution.
 
If you have a difficult neighbor, call animal control first, then the law if that doesn't work. Remember it is not the dog or cat's fault, it is the guardian or person who is caring for the animal. Most states consider animal abuse a felony, don't be guilty of harming animal of any kind. Respect all animals, there is no excuse for abuse.
