Need to painlessly poison and kill my neighbor's dogs?

What in gods name is wrong with you people get your jollies off the Thought of killing these dogs sure the owners are pricks but you guys need some serious freaking therapy get help Big time

Let me assure you that I for one certainly don't "get my jollies off" at the thought of killing dogs. I wish that I had never had reason to search out a thread like this. I can't speak for the other contributors but I would guess that any flippancy or relish that accompanies some of these posts comes from deep frustration boiling over after months of sleepless nights. Anyone who's been a victim of nuisance barking will understand this.

totally agreed. i cant harm a living creature,but this neighbourhood dog is driving me crazy. its a big dog, from this kind that barks at the wind 24/7 - i can sleep, study or eat calmly. i think i might be going in sane soon. i would kill him months ago but im afraid to get caught. i dont care anymore, i just want the damn creature killed so i can live my life.
 
i have this dog i want to get rid of... nut-choclate-aspirin burgers or antifreeze hotdogs?
 
I dont believe in killing dogs unless they are a threat to children. But just to keep you from giving it anti freeze (because antifreeze is a HORRIBLE way to dei). I'll advise you to Try calling the police if the people get warned and still do nothing about it.. then you have the right to shoot it with a gun. Or at least tha'ts the way the law is here.

Buy some xylitol and mix it with peanut butter or meat. Should do the trick. Only need 5-10 grams for a large sized dog. Essentially puts them in an insulin coma pretty quickly.
 
i was walking down the street when some random house's dog attacked me. i ran into the street and the fat ass owner calls the dog in. i asked "could you please tie up your dog?" and she just looked at me. I exclaimed "your dog just attacked me" - and she went inside.

I knocked on the door - i needed to know whether i was the only one who would experience this danger - i am not a woman or child - but if they leave this dog untied - who attacks people - then its only a matter of time before someone else is attacked too.

her daughter answers the door and i politely explained i was concerned that the dog needed to be tied up because the dog just attacked me. she calls in some old guy who immediately put his finger in my face and started yelling. my first instinct was to kick his ass, but i just pushed his finger out of my face. so this old bastard grabs a gun!

i ran across the street and called the police. the old fucker claimed that he thought i was trying to break in, and the lazy local cops took it in. i explained how this was not even close to true (i waited for the owner of the dog to come to the door, i spoke dilligently and sincerely until i was threatened). no one should ever - EVER threaten my life and not take it. very bad move.

i go to church almost every sunday nowadays....the cops did nothing. there is truly a threat in my neighborhood, the dog and its owner. the dog must be eliminated to ensure noone else encounters this threat. because i do value life as extremely sacred - i will spare the humans. they must learn that brute force is for mobsters and hoodlums. they must learn it is wiser to communicate with patience before grabbing weapons and threatening people.
 
Thanks for the advice. I am having the same problem only I don't have cats. I work long hours the dog keeps me up all night. And for those of you saying "you're sick," you do realize that not all pet owners are responsible and this dog is never played with or paid attention to. They got it when it was a puppy and its not "cute" anymore so the thing just sits there alone all day. I spent years training my dog so that he wouldn't be one of those annoying worthless dogs. He gets palyed with and walked daily and he comes in at night so that he has nothing to bark at and therefore doesn't bother anyone. I'll be damned if I have to live next to one cause the neighbors are to lazy to train it.
 
Does anyone know the frequency range that is actually painful for dogs? The owners won't do anything about their loser mutt so i'm going to bombard it with ultrasonic non stop for months. I haven't slept properly in months so fair is fair.

I don't know the actual frequency values but I can tell you that commercially available ultrasonic "bark deterrents" are useless. The only way to train a neighbour's dog to stop barking would be to blast it with the equivalent of having someone blow a referee's whictle into your ear. Even the stupidest dog would soon learn to equate barking with pain and shut up. Unfortunately the commercial gadgets cause the dog nothing but mild annoyance and if the dog is hellbent on barking it ignores and even gets used to the ultrasonic signal.

If you have the resources and technical knowhow you could probably make something much more effective that will solve your problem. Good luck!
