I have neighbors downstairs who complain about "loud walking" "banging" noise coming from our apartment. (We do not make these sounds.) We had arguments involving the apartment management last year, which seemed to have settled at one point. However, we got a note on the door last night, saying "REMEMBER I CAN HEAR EVERY STEP YOU TAKE." using capital letters and underlines. We feel harrassed and scared, realizing they are listening to everything, knowing when we take a bath, sleep, watch TV on the couch..... everything.
