Nero Wont burn Avi, Divx, Mpeg-1 or MP4 file formats anymore?

Nero will only burn, .bup .vob .ifo files, and it wont even convert an Avi or Divx into they file types before burning them to a DVD. I now have all this Nero software that i cant use. I've already tried updating it, so any advise will be much appreciated ;)
Ohh and by the way, it used to accept Avi & Divx etc, when i bought it & had the guy at the shop set up my PC. But after i formated the drive (i had alot of virus') It just wont accept them anymore

Sound like Nero needs to be reinstalled, but first use their CleanTool to completely remove the present installation:
