I adopted an 8 week old kitten on Thursday (today is Sunday). In one week I am leaving for Israel for 10 days and my father will be staying in my apartment to watch the kitten. This may be a silly question, but being such a young age will this mess with our bond? She is always snuggling up to me and I'm a little worried she'll either resent me or not remember me or something. Has anyone ever had a similar situation?
*As a side note, I will not often be leaving her for big trips. This is the only trip I have planned for this summer.
