Hi all
I have a new maltese puppy he is 11 weeks old roughly born on the 6th of November . I am a little worried about him. He seems to be really sleepy all the time, sometimes he plays about but if you keep him on ur lap or near you he just goes to sleep.
Hes not hugely active when he plays he does get bouts of it where he jumps abt for about 20 min -30 min then he goes to sleep. Sometimes when he runs around he twitchs sudden movements like he has seen something and he sctraches his ear a lot.He seems to be eating fine as far as I can see and there is no diorrea or sickness. He was sick once but that was in the car when we brought him home.
He has a little umbilical hernia , I took him to the vet she checked him over weighed him and heard his heart and said he was fine.
I am still a bit worried should I ask for a blood test or anything?
I did see the pup with his mum. He was raised in afgan hounds and cats so hes very friendly . I dnt know if he is just missing home or he is depressed or ill. The sleeping thing worries me please help? and I feel he should be more active when he is awake.
