New rims on Mazda, ride very bumpy ?

Im trying to figure out why the ride is so bumpy now. I have a 2010 Mazda 3 5 door and the rims are in mint condition with new tires. Its like whenever I drive now its like an uneven bumpy ride. Any ideas as to why? In my attempts to research online I came across the term "hubcentric" and that the rims may need some adjustment or something.
I meant to edit this before I got answers from those people ASSUMING I had big wheels. I don't, never will. My stock rims were 17" so I bought 17" aftermarket rims. Hope that can eliminate some pointless answers. Thanks for the responses though.

Well if you switched to bigger wheels then that's your problem. Bigger wheels make for a rougher ride, there's a reason 16" used to be the biggest they made em'

They may need adjusting...

You need to see if the tires are ballanced and make sure that the tire pressures are correct and not too high.
