New School rules

I've read about a case back during the Vietnam War, where a lot of kids were planning on wearing black wristbands to show support to the troops. The school administration wouldn't let them, and any kid who wore them was suspended.

Then the American justice system bitch-slapped the administration.

I'm sure pleanty of kids could win cases for some of the subjects mentioned in this thread.

I went to a private high school. We had to wear shirts, tie, and sport coat, but there was no uniforms. Other than that there weren't many other rules that were really enforced.

We got some gay attendance shit rules this year. Like something about a doctors note is required in order for the missed day to be waived. No more writing notes saying you over slept or soemthing. And no PDA. I'm pretty down for it, I don't want to see freshman hoes macking it out in the hall with some jr/sr ass fuck. But if shits small and they want to do something about it screw them.

My old school had stupid rules.

Examples:
Your hair had to be well kept
No facial hair
Had to be in full uniform and if you you were caught not in full uniform, you'd get a detention (Button-up, dockers, black shoes(no sneakers), only one button was allowed to be undone on the shirt, shirt has to be tucked in, no ankle socks, black leather belt)
If you were caught with electronics of any kind, automatic detention and it's taken away
If you miss 3 homework assignment, automatic detention

Yeah, it was run by nazis.
