...generations. What they mean is that ? Newspaper headlines often argue that the increasing public debt is a burden on future generations. What they mean is that

a. it makes predicting future unemployment levels unpredictable.
b. it causes deflation.
c. it reduces both nominal and real interest rates.
d. it reduces the current level of investment
Thank you so much for explaining that to me. It all makes sense now. I have never posted homework questions before, but I had 4 questions today that just blew my mind and I have no one to ask. Thanks again for all of your help.
