Nicotine gum in the USA and Canada?

Hello. I'm currently on a quit smoking plan and use nicotine gum which i find really helpful. I'm travelling to Canada and the USA soon (East coast) and am wondering if nicotine gum is easy to purchase out there? I believe no prescription is needed but would like to know where its available (drug stores only?) and what the rough price might me. Many thanks!
 
Yes, you can purchase nicotine gum almost anywhere now, even convenient stores. The cheapest place would be a drugstore, most east coast cities have a Walgreen's and CVS on every main road. Prices vary from $20 - $50.
