I would just like you're opinions and maybe some information on this subject. Im not bothered by this or am I scared of this. I just find it interesting.
So I sometimes have what i think is "night terrors". Sometimes it comes with a dream and sometimes I simply wake up confused, scared, sweating, and angry.
For example; I have two reoccurring dreams that reoccur every few months or years. In the first dream, I'm in kayak or canoe and I'm in a extremely serene and peaceful lake. There isn't a ripple in the water. But out of nowhere the water becomes extremely violent and I'm swallowed by chaos. Thats when I wake up shouting and screaming. Extremely confused, dripping in sweat. And even though I'm awake, the dream keeps playing over and over vividly in my mind. This usually only lasts from around a few seconds to a minute after I've woken up.
The second dream goes like this. I'm following a long empty road. Everything is calm and slow. But then I start speeding up and the road seems to move faster and faster and the road begins to twist and turn. I then wake up shouting and screaming, I feel completely lost in chaos. The symptoms are the same as the previous dream.
In one situation I was camping with my father and he was sleeping next to me. When I woke up screaming, there was nothing he could do to calm me down or comfort me.
Other situations are much more peaceful. For example; the other night I woke up sitting on the bathroom floor completely confused and dripping in sweat again.
