Nikita Khrushchev once told the U.S. "We will bury you". Was he referring to a

future community organizer...? becoming the leader of this nation, perhaps?
 
I doubt it. At that time, nobody would have thought we would have a black president. Did he say that when he took off his shoe and slammed it on the podium?

We seem to be headed in that general direction, but he did assume that the Soviet Union would be around to witness it. Of course we don't need them to bury us, we'll be doing that on our own.
 
Actually, he was referring to GW burying us in the freefalling debt he stuck us with so he could line his friends pockets with bailout funds.
