Ninja 650R for a second bike?

So I have been riding a little over a year now, and I have decided that I am ready to get a bigger bike. I have been riding a Kawasaki KLX250SF. I was interested in the Ninja 650R, I heard its a very forgiving bike yet still has power to get things done. Does anyone have any better suggestions?
Or comments?
 
Going from a Duel sport to a full on sport bike requires a completely different skill set.The 650R is quite a step up and may be more bike than you think.If you take your time and ride smart you'll do fine.
