Nintendo Dsi Internet trouble.?

Okay so, I know how to get Internet on my Ds, you go to the connection settings and all that blah blah blah, the problem is I cant even get on my own Internet , you have to type in this code or supposedly this "WEP" security key. I have tried and tried ,but I cant get on to my Internet. any advice or answers?
 
maybe your dsi doesn't support the high-proxy settings of your internet connection or maybe you entered the wrong code
 
your router security settings might be high like mines was.
you have to go to your router settings on your computer.
then set the security settings to wep your router not { wpa2-psk(tkip) } stuff like that on or
set it on none just to test to go on your ds like i did.
if it works on none. then set it on WEP. it should work just fine. if ya dont forget the password.
thats what i did to get on my dsi.
