I have a 2000 Nissan Frotnier XE. For awhile the airbag light has been coming on. Last week i finally went ahead and tried the door light trick and it worked no code was given and the light went off. Now it is back on and the code i am getting is 18 (one long blink fallowed by a pause then 8 short blinks before repeating). Anyone know what this code is, the dealership won't tell me all he says is i should bring it in for a check which means $100 out of my wallet without knowing what is wrong.
