No period for two months, but it feels like a piercing/knife feeling?

The piercing is felt down on left side of my vagina, and also random sharp/achey pain higher up on left side in pelvic area (I'm suspecting L-ovary). Even though my period has skipped two months, I get all the pms symptoms, and instead of my period coming out, it feels like it's going backwards inside (best way I can describe it). When it gets really achey, I put a heat wrap on my lower left side from my belly button. I'm not pregnant, not menopausing, and haven't had a hysterectomy. Has anyone had similar pains in the past, and if so, what caused it? Thanks!

Yes i have just this week. My period is two weeks late, so i went to the hospital yesterday just to make sure that everything was okay dont wanna risk anything because want to have babys in a couple of years. So anyhoo went to the doc and they did a bunch of test and even did a ultrasound and come to find out that when you are about to ovulate the egg goes into the folicals that grow to become cysts and then when they release the egg it goes back to normal size. Well mine had ruptured and it cuased me soo much pain one day i was on the floor feelin like i was givin birth and then it has been a sharp pain in my lower right abdomin. i am not sure if this is the same and the doctor acted like it was normal and that i was a idiot for not knowing but in my many years of havin a period i have never experienced anything like that and i have never heard of it happening. you should go get it checked out if it keeps up.
