Moved to the UK from South Africa 6 months ago. Have an A+ and N+ qualification in computing (Network and computer technition). Started doing my A levels this year, and am not failing at all.
Unfortunately, it has been tough moving to the UK (not fitting in, always moving house, parents trying to find jobs). It's very stressful being 16 and the only member in the family with a part-time job...
So unfortunately, my attendance at school hasn't been as good as it could be... because of this, they want to kick me out...
Quite frankly, I've had enough of being there... Every just treats me badly, which really makes me feel so much better about my life
... But if they kick me out (or i don't pass),, my parents are going to kick me out of the house... And not really having any friends to turn to here... I'm really worried about my future....
My job doesn't pay enough for me to survive on (even if I worked there full time). Along with that, apparently I can't work on computers because health and safety says I have to be 18...
I'm really worried about what's going to happen... I'm not a stupid child and am far from failing my classes, but as I said, if the school kick me out, I have no where to live...
Does anyone have any ideas of how I'd go about starting a life on my own at 16 with no money and hardly any qualification? This is really getting me down.... Just wish I could run away from it all sometimes...
The army isn't an option... could never live with that... already looked at joining the forces...
