Nokia 6133?

Ok so I bought a unlock code for my nokia 6133 and I have trouble entering it into the phone, i tired with and without the simcard, i typed in the number like i would dial a number #pw+xxxxxxxxx# and still didnt work what am i doing wrong?
also when i type it in it says phone number not valid
