Nokia N95 compatibility with Ford Bluetooth SONY system!!!!!?

Why oh why do mobile companies not have standard settings for bluetooth. Can someone please tell me why a N95 is not compatible with the new ford (sony) bluetooth stereo.
 
ALL Bluetooth devices are compatible, N95 will work with your ford system, if it cant find it, keep trying and it will eventually find the bluetooth system, you might need to 'pair' them, it took me 5 attempts to get my bluetooth earpeice to work with my N95....
