how about emotional pain from not being able to marry your love one because christian feel the need to push their beliefs in to our laws.

if it is emotional pain that is related is that ok?

Hmm am I being psychoanalyzed over the net? Seriously?
I can not prove this 100%. Prove to me you are not massively generalizing.
I have used humor to deal with specific issues that have hurt me yes.
For example for my dad's 40th birthday I got him a Bottle of Windsor Canadian and attached a nipple on it. Can you guess what emotional trauma I was making light of?
I do not however take my pain from one situation and use it to bash others..because you see I am pretty good at dealing directly with those who hurt me and I don't need a scape goat for my pain.
And I don't harbor a lot of pain either. I just work through it and move on.

Edit: If you think you are a stupid Christian then you are a stupid Christian. Just remember I never mentioned that...it is something you came up with on your own. Is it possible you are reflecting your own self image through your very questions? Hmm...Next on Montel..

I don't see your correlation.

I think you need to deal with the fact that when it comes to rationality and reality, most Christian beliefs are comedic gold.

This is my life: wonderful son, wonderful boyfriend, wonderful up and coming career. I am happy with myself and my accomplishments, I enjoy getting up in the morning.

****Listen, we cannot speak for everyone. Atheism is not group-think, we have no pretend sacrifices, we do not congregate, doctrine, or otherwise.

However, from what I have seen on here, in documentaries, even in my own life, people who are using Christian beliefs as comedy are pretty confident and happy.
