I am a public relations major and am obsessed with sports, every sport (for teh most part). I am also interested in working with a non-profit organziation. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any organziations that work to bring sports (youth sports, equitment, etc.) to children in urban environments or other countries. An example is the RBI Program of the MLB.
I am really just looking for names of organziations that I could possibly get involved with. They can be national organziations or local ones, and I do not care about what city tehy are based in or if they are religiously affiliated. At this time I just want names so I can do some of my own research.
