Most Americans have long retired from their Atkins-induced madness, which had many believing that bacon in butter was a better choice than whole grains. Of course, cutting carbs is still popular, but even former*disciples*of the diet have backed off the butter. Apparently, Norway's dieters have not--and it's the immense popularity of a high-fat, low-carb diet that's being largely blamed for the country's butter shortage.
